About this speaker

Catherine Glew is the Women’s Strategy Manager at homelessness charity St Mungo’s. She joined the charity in 2015, and previously led St Mungo’s government influencing work on rough sleeping, mental health and women’s homelessness.

She currently leads on the design and implementation of St Mungo’s organisational Women’s Strategy, which was published in March 2019. She also leads on the organisation’s approach to tackling domestic abuse.

Previously at St Mungo’s, Cat led policy and public affairs work towards securing a new national rough sleeping strategy, a government commitment to end rough sleeping, and investment in mental health support for people sleeping rough.

Prior to joining St Mungo’s, Cat was a researcher and housing lead at third sector consultancy NPC and worked in various policy, research and public affairs roles elsewhere in the charity sector. She holds an MSc from the UCL School of Public Policy.
